very poor radio sound
By bumba | on Thursday, August 06, 2020
The radio sound system in the back seat of the es 350 is very poor the rear speakers are very poor hardly no sound coming from the rear speakers… - 3.0
May pros but might not buy if I could do it over.

Great to drive. Plenty of power and good handling. Beautiful luxury interior and exterior looks. There are two big shortcomings. The driver's seat is very uncomfortable and hard. This is a big deal. There is not enough padding, You can feel hard bumps where the steel is in the seat. Another negative is the quirkiness of the technology. It's not always predictable. The mouse is a distraction from driving. The 12 inch screen is a real plus. It comes with the nav package which has great graphics. However you would be better off without nav and use instead the nav apps on your phone. They are easier to use than the Lexus nav. Overall the techology in the car needs to be rethought… - 2.0
So much to love but...
By Cosmo | on Tuesday, May 14, 2019
The sound system is terrible. Every other complaint is minor - except maybe the overly sensitive Remote Touch Interface control system which is very frustrating (dangerous?) to use. But, seriously, sound does not come out of the back speakers which is ludicrous. I truly thought I had speakers that were not connected but was assured by the Lexus technician they worked as designed. The technician actually said "the back speakers were designed to produce very little sound; it is a new design and a new sound experience". Yes, a terrible experience! I cannot figure out what is going on or how Lexus put this product on the market. I have a 3 years lease and I feel totally stuck. I am sad because I loved my past ES 350 cars but I feel I have to make a statement and walk away from Lexus at the end of my lease!…
